One-way
The regular one-way fare cash payment is good on local buses, UVX, TRAX and S-Line for two (2) hours after purchase. This fare applies to passengers ages 6-64. Additional fare will be required on express and premium services, including FrontRunner. Fare can be purchased in cash from a bus operator or ticket vending machine (TVM), or with a card using a TVM or the Transit app.

A day pass is good for unlimited rides that day on bus, UVX, TRAX, and S-Line. For trips beginning on bus, day passes may be purchased from the bus operator, on this website, on the Transit app, or at selected UTA pass sales outlets. For trips beginning on TRAX and S-Line, day passes must be purchased before boarding at ticket vending machines located at all TRAX and S-Line stations or on the Transit app. Tickets for UVX can be purchased on the Transit app. Day passes are validated at the time of use.

The monthly pass is good for unlimited travel on local buses, UVX, TRAX, and S-Line for one calendar month. This fare applies to passengers ages 19-64. Additional fare will be required on express and premium services, including FrontRunner. This pass is available at select UTA pass sales outlets, on the Transit app, and on this website. Individuals who purchase an adult monthly pass using a state-issued Horizon Card with cash value may do so at a discount of up to 25%.

One-way deviation
The route deviation fare is paid in addition to the local one-way fare on Flex Routes when the stop used is a deviation from the scheduled route. Flex Route numbers all begin with F. Flex Routes may deviate up to ¾ of a mile depending on pre-scheduled deviation requests. Deviation requests may be made from 2 hours up to 7 days before the needed trip by calling 801-287-7433. All deviations require a $1.25 fare whether scheduled or not. Deviations can be purchased with cash on the bus or through the Transit app.

The FrontRunner one-way fare cash payment is good on FrontRunner commuter rail with transfer to all buses, UVX, TRAX, and S-Line for two hours from the time of purchase if the ticket is purchased at the TVM. Fares that are purchased with FAREPAY Card have a transfer window of two hours after the first tap. Fares purchased on the Transit app are valid when activated. The fare applies to passengers ages 6-64. This fare is distance-based with a base fare of $2.50 for travel to one station plus $0.60 for each additional station. The maximum fare from Provo to Ogden is $9.70 one way. Note that passengers traveling through the Vineyard and North Temple stations will not be charged for an additional station. FrontRunner does not operate in the Free Fare Zone and passengers are required to pay the FrontRunner base fare. Purchase FrontRunner one-way fare prior to boarding at a ticket vending machine or on the Transit app.
